Everyone on Our Team Counts!

Courtney Anderson, CMA, EA - President

Courtney Anderson, the President and Founder of Kyanite Accounting, became a Certified Management Accountant in 2017 and an Enrolled Agent in 2021. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minor in Information Technology. After spending the last 8.5 years in San Diego, CA, she recently relocated to Largo, FL with her loveable furbaby, Emmie.

As the daughter of both a CPA and a Tax Guru, she grew up to understand and appreciate what goes into maintaining great relationships with clients while providing exceptional services within the Accounting field. In 2020, Courtney made the inevitable leap into self-employment under the original brand, Courtney Anderson EA Tax, Inc. This decision was made to offer a service that feels genuine and personal, and provide her with a true sense of fulfillment knowing she was providing valuable solutions to her clients. As a lover of progress, change and evolution, Courtney expanded the brand into Kyanite Accounting in 2023 in an effort to nourish even more clients and businesses with their own business expansion.

We're not regular accountants, we're cool accountants.

Alma Vida Do, EA - Accounting Lead

Alma Vida Do, EA was a welcomed addition the Kyanite team in September 2021 and has been vital part of our success since day one. She has a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of California San Diego and is the mother to two adorable boys. Similarly to Courtney, Alma is the daughter of a CPA and has Accounting in her blood and an entrepreneurial spirit in her heart. While her kids were very young, she took on the big feat of venturing into the world of business ownership with starting her own eCommerce LLC. Doing her own business's Accounting and taxes sparked her interest to narrow in more specifically on our exciting industry to focus solely on taxes and accounting for others. She has two crazy tax seasons under her belt as well as a brain full of the extensive knowledge she gained from graduating from the Surgent Income Tax School and Penn Foster with a Career Diploma in Bookkeeping. We are extremely lucky to have her as our resident Accounting Wizard!

Jenn Truong - Staff Accountant

As our newest addition at Kyanite, Jenn has immediately brought significant value to our growing office. Jenn is a gem who derives directly from our new home state of Florida in the beautiful city of Clearwater. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of South Florida. Starting her clerical career within the Real Estate industry while simultaneously obtaining her degree, she was able to gain significant experience in providing high-level administrative support to her team. Jenn's dependability and invaluable organizational and detail-minded skills translate fluently to her destined path in the exhilarating accounting industry. During her years as a Staff Accountant, she rapidly enhanced and demonstrated her undeniable capabilities when the pandemic caused her to be the only accountant left at her company to handle all of the clients. Her willingness to always accept a new challenge and thrive while doing so made her a obvious perfect fit on the Kyanite team. She is also a proud pom-mom to her adorable pomeranian named Sukii. Jenn's existence at Kyanite has been nothing shy of beneficial to everyone around her and we are thrilled she chose Kyanite as the place where she will undeniably flourish.

Emmie - Head of Puplick Relations

As the first official onboarded team member, Emmie earns her keep as the company's mascot and has been personally responsible for handling all of the company's mental health maintenance. Although her work ethic is lazier than most, her contributions are held to the highest of merit. Without her codependent presence, Kyanite Accounting as a whole would cease to exist.

Sukii - Barketing Manager

Sukii is a new face on the block but has quickly wiggled her way into being a vital aspect of our work environment. She may be overqualified as the new in-house Barketing Manager, but we would be foolish to turn away such skilled talent. Her spunky personality has overturned Emmie's reclusive attitude towards other canine colleagues and they became playful best friends at first sight.
